SoHo Blogger Plans Loft Party To Raise Money For Local Homeless Charity

SOHO — Art by popular New York City street artists will be auctioned off at a SoHo loft party next week to raise money for a local charity that works with the homeless.

Danielle Nazinitsky, the blogger behind SoHo Strut, is throwing the "Street Strut" fundraiser party for SoHo-based ACE Programs for the Homeless at 101 Wooster St. on Sept. 10, and has pulled in the support of street artists including Cernesto, Gumshoe, Joseph Meloy, Ramiro Studios and Eddy Bogaert.

“SoHo has a long and storied history of being an artist haven,” Nazinitsky explained. “Street Art Strut is our way to celebrate SoHo’s roots and showcase the local artists and galleries that make up the vibrant neighborhood.”

ACE director of development Michele Schuster said in a statement that the organization is “very excited to be working with Soho Strut to showcase the artistic talent we have in SoHo and raise funds for ACE through the live art sales.

“Both our organizations have a common interest in strengthening our neighborhood and giving back to the local community."
